Birthday ideas?

Anyone got any birthday ideas out there that you would have your kids give to their dad? I already got Pete his gift from me but I was wondering, what do dads like to get from their kids? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Help! New insights my new bloggin' family.

yes, think of something you guys can do together as a family that you normally wouldn't do, like pack up the bikes, a great picnic and go down to the river trails in st. Paul or minehaha falls for the day. I never could get enough time with my family when we were kids, it seemed like we were doing stuff ALL the time and I love the memories.

I'm the worst gift-buyer in history. Total brain freeze when I go to buy a present. Even buying just a card takes me forever, because none of them are ever right.

Growing up we always had to make "birthday lists" of what we wanted. It made it real easy to get presents. Once you got something on the list, you made sure no one else got the same thing. Of course, we traditionally didn't get the present until the night before - or more frequently, the night of - the birthday, with only the birthday person staying home, so we could easily collaberate with one another.

But what to get when there's no birthday list available? No idea.
