It is the most beautiful lasagna I ever made. My mom says that about everything. It's true. Every. Time. Yum!

Smooch

Levi said to me last night, "Mom, why do you only give dad kisses on the lips?" I said, "because he's my loverboy." He said, "Gimme a kiss mom." I kissed him on the lips and he said, "Thats it? Thats what its like? Smooch me." I was like, "No! Ya weirdy!" It was so funny. I told Pete this morning and he said to Jace when he left, "Tell Levi no makin out with mom today." Tons of laughs!

I know it's a bad picture Dana. She really does sleep with this on. Is that a sign of high maintenance to come? I know you're just laughing out loud mom. Hopefully the Lord will return before I have another pre-teen.

Don't ya love those times when your kids cuddle up and watch a movie all clean and fresh?! Awww!

It is finished

He did it! He said to me at 5:30 am, "Mom! My tooth was rolling around in my mouth this morning and I spit it out! I also saw a meteorite out my bedroom window. That or a spaceship. It was fiery and shooting across the sky." I was mostly asleep when I heard all these LOUD stories in my dark bedroom. I congratulated him and told him to try and get some more sleep PLEASE! He sure looks different though huh?

One to go

My snaggletoothed boy got one of his stubborn teeth to come out! It was a bloody mess. He left blood droppings and smeary, bloody fingerprints all over the bathroom hand drying towel. Did I mention he left his first tooth just lying near the sink roots and all. He was very proud when he got the first of two out but this other one is in there really good. We have twisted, tugged, pulled, and bent it all different ways. Levi says, "It's just not ready to come out." It is annoying for him to eat with as you can imagine but the funniest thing was this morning he got up and came into the kitchen and with a disappointed look he said, "I can't even shiver properly." Stay tuned for the next shots of his somewhat toothless grin.

Cabin Time!

Yippee! The cabin is opened! We went up this weekend for Easter and we had a great time. The kids went four-wheeling, trampoline jumping, and of course we had our badmitton tournanments. The weather was beautiful, the crick was high, and the cabin was cozy. I walked along the driveway and was glad to not meet any bears. Mom says they're scared of you yet she knows a man who outran one to save his very life. We also went to church on Sunday and celebrated our risen Savior! We topped it off with a delicious turkey dinner served by mom. It was deadly delicious. (Oh yeah....)The night before we had muskie, or "poorman's lobster." It was yumm-o! I should've taken a picture of these meals. They were something right out of gourmet cooking mag. The kids are already begging to go back. I'm hoping for warm sunshiny weather so I can layout on that awesome dock made just for me. In the summer, the trees grow really thick so when I'm on it the kids can't even find me! I'll put some pictures up of these same shots after the trees bloom. A whole different look, coming soon....

Testing

I had to laugh at Levi today as he was taking his state test. He had to read a part of a story out of the book "Mouse Tales." This was one of my absolute favorites as a kid! He had to read part of the one that is called "Clouds." Do you know it? Oh my. He has heard it on tape several times before so he was reading it the way he's heard it. Slowly, softly, and with a thick, English womans accent. He sounded just like the narrator. Maybe you had to be there, it was truly hilarious!

Grillin'

Pete got this new sweet grill cleaner for Christmas this year. Pretty cool huh? It was a great night for burgers and brews. 82 degrees on April Fools. No. Joke.
