Pizza Pigs

Levi and Isaac are always bragging to me about how they can eat a whole pizza. I always tell them, thats so sick! For a Christmas present this year I let them both eat a whole pizza short one piece each for Libs. They were so excited and did it happily (barf!) When I told Jane she had to sit down and just tell herself it was Christmas.
Isaac said he hopes its Christmas everyday when he comes over. Levi said he agreed. Liberty just wanted her picture in there because she was jealous. Ha!

Today we went to Severs Corn Maze. An excellent time full of much fun and beautiful weather. One of the highlights for all of us was swimming in this amazing corn pool. Super creative!

Fieldtrip Day!

MN Zoo trip

We went to the Minnesota Zoo today for the 1st time all together. Jax (who is dressed like a monkey, appropriately) was a very good baby and the big kids were very helpful. We saw lots of wonderful, interesting creations. We had lunch there and it was a beautiful sunshiney day!

Counting my blessings

Summer fun in the sun! The kids had a great day at the pool on Friday. It was so hot and gorgeous. What a blessing it is to have a pool. I sat by it yesterday imagining my dad out there digging the posts, the mudslide it was when we first began, the yard that used to be a dogtrack and full of trees. I remembered when dad was in the hospital asking me if there was anything of his that I might want. I told him I already have it dad-the family heirloom: the jaws rock from my pool growing up. Pete only had to do a little touching up on the teeth with some white paint. It's so incredibly awesome!
We have so many great memories. So many blessings and undeserved graces. I remember when Pete and I would sit on our back porch of our apartment in Vegas with a beer and a smoke and dream about what we might one day have. The Lord has given us so much; too much. He is good and I am grateful.

Cabin times

Here are a few blurry pics from the cabin. The kids had fun playing games on the trampoline and riding the 4-wheeler. Pete started Liberty riding on her own. Hate it! I don't care if he walks around with her. It's dangerous and she's too little. Look at her on there! She turned back to look at me once as if to say, "I'm big Mom. Don't worry." She doesn't realize that's my job!
