Joy in the Lord
Levi came busting into the bathroom this morning with serious joy in his heart. He's like, "Mom!I am really getting to know God!" I was like, "Awesome! How so?" He was like, "He is starting to talk to me! He is revealing mysteries to me!" I was like, "That is so awesome!" He walked out of the bathroom praising God. I finished getting ready and walked out in the living room where he was in a kneeling position giving thanks to God. Precious!

Levi is 10!

Today Levi is ten. He is a decade. He told me the other day, "I'm gettin too old for this." Ha!
We went out and got him a couple games for PS2-Hunting games that he loves. He also chose Orange Chicken for dinner and he had waffles for breakfast. He asked me if I thought he looked any different? I said he looked wiser. He said he agreed. He received two gifts in the mail that he is waiting to open but wants to do it via Skype with Pete. He is a blessing to have-he's super caring, tender, and loving. Ya, Pete and I don't know where he gets those traits......He definitley has the spirit of God living in him and I feel blessed to know he's growing up in the Lord all the time.

Warning
Levi and I played catch the other day at the park. We had so much fun and it was nice to spend time with him one on one and learn some football skilz myself. He is such a funny kid, always saying the funniest things. I told him I was going to go to Valleyscare this Halloween season. He said, "Are you nuts?!" I said, "You know, it's scary huh?" He said, "Well yeah, the devils there!!" He cracks me up, even though he's probably right!

Sweet Moves!
Levi had a great baseball season this Spring. They won their division and made it to the final game. Although they didn't win over the North division the boys worked hard. They played in 90 degrees plus heat Saturday night for 2 wins and Sunday mid day for 2 1/2 hours! Thanks to all those who were there suffering sunstrokes to watch him play. He definitely had the largest amount of fans and was so excited when he saw the amount of friends and family that came and watched. He played hard and never complained one time. Amazing!

You'll be fine
Levi-"mom, look at my belly. Was Jace this fat when he was my age?"
Me-"he had a time when he was heavier."
Levi-"how fat was he?"
Me-"he just had a time when he was bigger and then he grew taller and he thinned out. You'll do the same. Just keep working out and listening to me when I tell you you've had enough to eat."
Levi-"mom, I want you in charge of my diet. I want a fruit and a vegetable at every meal. I'll have a salad at dinner and I want more protein and only fattening foods and treats on Christmas and holidays."
Me-"I will help you."
Levi-"phew!"

Homeschool Math
I was teaching Levi today what 1/2 of 17 was and it looked like this:
Me-"say we had 17 balls (drew a picture) and you and I both got equal amounts of them. How many would I get?"
Levi-"eight"
Me-"well, now you'd have nine."
Levi-"well, I'll have eight too."
Me-"see this extra one? What do we do with it?"
Levi-"throw it away,"

Memorable!
Levi had his 9th bday party yesterday and it was quite a day! He got all the things he asked for and more. One of my favorite parts of the day was watching him open his gifts. He was reading a card from mom and Joe which was too funny! Funny because at the end my mom always writes "xo xo" which he "read." It was so hilarious to hear him say what sounded like "csko, csko" at the end of the card!. Haha!
Then he stood up after that and said, "Thank you and may God bless each and every one if you." (A Christmas Carol style) It was quite humorous. :)

My Best Friend

Isn't this so cute?! Levi writes about his best friend Ben! So fun! In case you cannot see it it says:
My best friend is Ben A. Twohy. We love to play cops and robbers and his brother Jaye loves to play rough. We also love to play Zoo Tycoon. He has brown hair and blue eyes and he has a lot of legos. He has king and castle stuff and he has a lot of toys. He is a good Christian and he loves God. Im very happy to have a good friend like him. I saved his life twice. The first time I saved him from suffocating underwater. I pulled him out of the water. I loved Ben so much we became best friends.

Another team pic
It looked way cool

We were at Levis last game today, or so we thought. They ended up winning 36-0 and entering the Pony Bowl. Is it gonna be in Hawaii? I wish. It couldn't have been a more beautiful fall morning and added to the beauty were hot air balloons taking off right above the field. It was awesome! These pics don't compare with how cool it really looked. I also added a pic of Pete and Levi from his game Thursday night which was another incredible win. Go Cardinals! (I told Pete the bright lights got in the way of the picture but I said it was Halloweenish-like back from the dead looking, doncha think?)

Wash....towel....?
"Mom, can you get me a small towel that I maybe can get wet?" Levi shouts from the shower. "Sure, let me look and see if I have one," I reply. He leans out, "Mom, make sure it's small and soft. Are you sure you're ok if I get it wet?" I say, "Yes, Levi. It's called a washcloth. It's for the shower." He says, "It would be a good idea if we could leave it in here. I really need it to scrub my ears."

Well Yah!
Levi was at his friend Tommy's last weekend entertaining the parents as usual. I came to pick him up and one of Tommy's parents said they felt really bad because Levi told him that my mom died. I told him it actually wasn't my mom but my grandma. Tommy's dad asked Levi if it was his (Levi's) moms mom but he took that wrong so anyway.....He asked Levi how he felt about it and Levi was throwing his arms up and saying, "It was awful! Just awful!" Tommy's dad could tell he was just so upset. Then Levi said, "Ya know she died a Catholic." Tommy's dad said, "Is that bad?" Levi gives him a very serious look and exclaims, "WELL YAH!"
