Water Project

Hi, my name is Jace Lundstrom and I am conducting a fund-raising project with 4 other classmates. Our goal is to raise $3,500 in the next 8 weeks for a water purification system to the people of Zambia, South Africa. We are doing many different things to raise money in our group including collecting cans, bagging groceries, and contacting business like yours for donations/can collecting.

Here are some facts about unsafe water:

-1 billion people lack access to safe water.

-Contaminated water is the #1 cause of death in developing countries.

-Approximately 3 children die every minute from unsafe water and lack of sanitation.

I have attached a brochure on Newlife International with their website for more information.

Can you help us in this great fund-raising opportunity?

Thank you for helping us reach our goal,

Jace Lundstrom

Jace made his first presentation today and it was a success! He went to the neighborhood Bar and Grill and the Manager was quite impressed with him. He actually told me he didn't leave it open-ended either. He actually asked the Manager if he could count on him for a 2-500 dollar donation. I'm amazed! "Do Hard Things" has proved to be a great class!

My dad

Donna, "I really like your daddy's car."
Liberty is silent and then gives her a cold hard stare stating, "My daddy speeds..........and he doesn't even love Jesus."

Bye Bye Birdie

Anybody seen this play? Jace will be playing the role of Hugo in the play come next April. They have their winter preview coming up. He told me there is a song that he has to stand in the middle and all the gals fawn over him. His response to that?
"Mom, I don't wanna be a boyfriend."

Fish tales

Jamie, "How big of a fish didja catch?"
Levi, "It was about 3 feet."
Jamie, "What?"
Levi, "Sorry, it was actually 2 feet. My bad."

Bowling Star

Rockstah!

Happy Halloween!

Music

Levi is in his first year of piano and is taking to it quite easily so far. He even reads notes and other music signs well. Maybe too well. Here is how he sang in church this week:
"Bless the Lord, Oh my soul, and all that is within me bless His holy name-REPEAT
Bless the Lord, REST, Oh my soul, and all that is within me bless His holy name.
REST"

Oh yes, and don't forget, all the while in opera-style. Bonus.

Blubber

A bladder infection? Again? Ugh! As I was taking my pills a few mornings ago Levi said, "Mom, is that for your blubber?"
